Thank you both for all your care and consideration over the sale of 1/17a Stanley Ave. There are a number of things in our minds that made a big difference for us as vendors (on behalf of our Mum) in engaging Etch to handle this sale for us.
We approached several agents, and they made presentations to us before our decision was made. Although given care and consideration during these presentations, we were left with a sense of a ‘process that had been used many times before’, a ‘cookie cutter’ approach.
With Etch there was a fresh energy and an ability to listen, assess our situations and plan accordingly. Throughout the sale there seemed to be an agility to adapt and pivot to make quick but careful changes where needed. It was a very bespoke experience.
One of us had prior experience with Etch in the sale of a family home and found the process and result particularly and surprisingly seamless and very positive.
We all thought it was the same during the sale of Stanley Ave. There was a lot of care and attention to detail.
A theme that ran throughout both sales was the willingness by Etch to take on any issues to prepare the property for sale in an understanding and timely manner. Especially considering the stresses moving (in both cases) and the emotion involved in selling old family properties when so much was happening in our lives and for Stanley Ave all three of us were in different parts of the world.
There was clear and sensitive communication which helped us all to be on the same page at all times. We all felt well informed and acknowledged throughout the sales process.
We always dealt with Hugo and Lu, the Agency principals, rather than less experienced staff. At open inspections they were there and available to answer all questions which they had done the research for.
In summary Hugo and Lu have demonstrated that they knew and respected the emotional significance and gravitas of the sale of this long-held family property. When they gave us ideas on how to better present the property, they provided quotes from experienced trades people to do the work who did it promptly and faultlessly.
With all this in mind we do not hesitate to recommend Etch as an agency to sell your home.
